Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Transformation Strategy: Developing a comprehensive strategy to integrate digital technologies into healthcare operations, aligning with the Ministry's goals and fostering innovation.
  • Digital Health System Development: Designing, implementing, and managing robust electronic health systems that improve patient care and streamline administrative processes.
  • Health Information Management: Overseeing the collection, storage, and secure management of health data, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Security and Privacy: Ensuring strict cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive health data, maintaining compliance with data protection regulations and ensuring patient privacy.
  • Interoperability and Integration: Establishing seamless communication and data exchange between different digital health systems and platforms, promoting collaboration among healthcare stakeholders.
  • Technology Exploration and Advancement: Proactively investigating cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain, evaluating their potential roles in healthcare innovation, and driving research to determine their practical feasibility and impact.
