The Ministry of Health Affiliate Fellowship is a unique opportunity that brings together professionals and experts to partner with Rwanda’s Ministry of Health in advancing transformative health initiatives. Open to both Rwandan and international applicants, the fellowship enables individuals to contribute their knowledge and skills voluntarily through hands-on collaboration with national institutions.

Fellows are embedded within key organizations such as the Ministry of Health, Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (RFDA), National Health Intelligence Center (NHIC), the University of Rwanda, and others. Their work supports high-priority areas including public health, digital innovation, health financing, workforce development, epidemiology, and more.

The program welcomes both those interested in contributing to ongoing national efforts and those proposing new, standalone projects that align with the Ministry’s strategic goals.

This is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity. Fellows are encouraged to identify and secure their own sources of financial support to cover any associated costs, such as travel, accommodation, or living expenses during their fellowship.
