The Technical Support Cell to Health Schemes (“Mutuelles de Santé”) is responsible for sensitizing communities and districts in the setting up of health insurance systems that are going to promote the improvement of the financial accessibility to the health care, the protection of the households against the risks associated to the illness and the backing of the social inclusion in health.
Major responsibilities:
- Promotes the development of Health Schemes while contributing to the development of the strategies, the formulation of policies, the follow-up and the assessment of Health Schemes
- Improve the financial accessibility to the health care to all by sensitizing the population and particularly assisting the most vulnerable persons adhering to Health Schemes
- Coordinates the Health Schemes technically in terms of management and training
- Creates and exploits a bank of data on Health Schemes
- Elaborates the legal and authorized setting of Health Schemes.
