The Pharmaceutical Laboratory of Rwanda (LABOPHAR) is an official company which has the mission of producing local essential drugs of high quality, great therapeutic effectiveness, at an affordable price to the people.
Major Responsibilities:
- To contribute to the achievement of the national policy regarding the generic essential drugs.
- To make available essential drugs of high quality, at an affordable price to the people.
- To control the quality of raw materials and drugs manufactured according to the international standards.
- To manufacture pharmaceutical forms using gross products obtained from the local medicinal plants.
- To contribute to the research and development in the field of pharmaceutical industry.
- To contribute to the training of the students in pharmacy.
- To contribute to the realization of all operations relating to its object.
